Dear reader,
This proves that the Federal Excise Tax collected
by every phone company is a fraud. Please note the sentence from the regulatory
and executive analyst from Sprint that I marked in red. This tax was repealed
way back in 1965 and that's why you need not pay this tax. Have you ever heard
of any other tax being collected that you were told you do not have to pay the
tax? Now what if we all demanded a return of ALL federal excise taxes withheld
back to 1965? That would show the fraud of the entire government that will not
help stop this illegal taking of your money. Even the attorney general of North
Carolina would not help me or the people of North Carolina when I approached
him on the matter. They all know because if Sprint's Regulatory people know
we don't have to pay the tax why doesn't the attorney general or the DOJ of
he United States when I asked them for help? You all complain about the cost
and taxes, now here is your chance to do something about it. Only one man came
on to my case here in North Carolina when I pleaded on the Internet for people
to come onto my case and no one did. You don't realize the other so called "charges"
are just as illegal, like the 12 dollar a month Internet Access charge. You
are paying roughly 42 to 47 percent of your phone bill to illegal charges. Wouldn't
you like a 47 percent reduction in your phone bill?

Re: Sprint Inquiry
Sprint
Case 1225519
Dear Mr. Coombs:
Thank you for your correspondence dated July 26,2004, to Mr. Len Lauer, President
and Chief Operating Officer of Sprint Corporation. Your inquiry has been forwarded
to the Sprint Executive and Regulatory Services Department, and I have been
asked to assist in resolving your Federal Excise Tax concern. Please accept
my apology for any inconvenience you may have experienced while attempting to
resolve this issue.
The only tax which may be "protested" (and
not paid) by customers is the Federal Excise Tax (FET). All other taxes
and charges must be paid, unless. there is.anapplicable exemption. Because each
month's FET amount is a separate debt, the customer must send in a note each
month stating the reason for their refusal to pay in order for that amount to
be credited off their account. A customer cannot be automatically "exempted"
from this tax.
In order for credit to be considered, please provide your name, account number,
requested amount to be credited, and a copy of the protest note to Chris Franta
at 6500 Sprint Parkway, Overland Park KS 66251, Mailstop: KSOPHL0512-5A620 or
fax the information to (913)-523-2801.
Sincerely,
Amy Shoenfeld
