The Secret Patriot Act II destroys what is left of American Liberty.

For several years the Federal government has attempted to compile complete databases on all Americans, regardless of their race, or origins. Each time a new proposal by Congress has come before the public regarding privacy invasion or more government control the citizens of this country have spoken very clearly their dissatisfaction with these proposals which have become increasingly invasive to every facet of their lives. Some have actually been shot down before coming law.

However, 9-11 gave the government the opportunity to put in place what they had been attempting to do with little success. All done in complete secrecy - with the blessing and assistance of the Department of Justice, passed and signed by the President.

Congressman Ron Paul (R-Tex) told the Washington Times that no member of congress was allowed to read the first Patriot Act that was passed by the HOuse October 27, 2001. The first Patriot Act was decried by many Constitutional scholars across the political spectrum.

On February 7, 2003, the Center for Public Integrity revealed the full text of the Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003. The classified document was leaked to them by an unnamed source inside the Federal government. The bill itself is stamped "Confidential - Not for Distribution".

It is important to note that no member of Congress was allowed to see the first Patriot Act before its passage, and that no debate was tolerated by the House and Senate leadership. The new Patriot Act strips American citizens of all of their rights and grants the government and its private agents total immunity. Ninety percent of the act has nothing to do with terrorism and is instead a giant Federal power-grab with tentacles reaching into every facet of our society.

This writer never thought to see the day that all Americans would be considered to be the enemy of the government or that they would allow this to happen. It has been coming over the years, but it was hoped that America would wake up to the facts and "act" to protect themselves from this corruption. Welcome to Amerika!!! It is said that governments fail every 200 - 300 years or so. Let's hope so. We are long overdue. Anyone who thinks this "Patriot Act" does not involve them needs to get their heads out of the sand. With scumbags like Morris Dease who lists anyone he chooses, as a racist, terrorist, or whatever he deems to be valuable to the feds will have a ball with this one. No one will be safe at all. Our "protective" government pays well for all information, even false information which is then used against the unsuspecting citizen.

If you care at all about this matter, get in touch with your Congress person and let them know immediately that you do not wish this Patriot II act to be considered at all. But do remember - they like the power and prestige of the office - the votes - and the MONEY. It is time to remind them that you put them in D.C. and can remove them as well.
