ATG: The following article, published in The Times Examiner can be corroborated and studied further by going to www:CAFR1.com. The information presented there by Walter Burien has been shown to the public for some time now. While Governor Sanford is asking for reduction of the State Income Tax, it would be better, and possible, to eliminate ALL 4% property tax on our homes - which the State can take away from us if we don't pay the TAX! We are all slaves to the State and the unaccountable, out-of-control School Boards. South Carolinians who work hard to buy and maintain homes DO NOT OWN them! EVER!!! Every time a county or city council meets they want a FEW MORE dollars on a "$100,000 home" . On YOUR home. The presumption must be that lowering the Income Tax more businesses will come into the State, and more homes can be taxed. Folks, when are you going to draw that line in the sand and say -NO? Look at the CAFR for SC and do your homework. LL

Overtaxed

Opinion - Ken Shields

Did you ever hear of Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports? No? It's new to me too. South Carolina's CAFR for 2002 shows surpluses of, you may want to sit down for this, $6.16 billion. That's more than $1,500 that we each have overpaid in taxes to the state. That's per capita.
Think of it, your infant (if you have one) was overtaxed, too. Has the State of South Carolina offered to return this surplus of tax revenue to the rightful owners; we the people? Nobody has said anything to me. How about you? Where is the money? Invested. Earning the state a tidy sum in interest income. Multiply $1,500 by the number of people in your family. I ask you; could you use that money for something? I'll bet the answer is "Yes!" and with emphasis on the exclamation point.
I've just read some projections that show the effects of returning the money to us. Between the spending and investing that would occur, it is estimated that there would be over 123,000 new jobs created in South Carolina. Wow! That's amazing! That alone would be a good reason to refund the money.
   I want to mention the real reason the money should refunded. IT'S OUR MONEY! It doesn't belong to the government. Our government is responsible to provide certain services and we pay for those services. There is no provision for the government to be investing excess funds because there aren't supposed to any excess funds. {The schools have been doing the same things for years and then asking for more and more tax dollars every year - ATG}

We the people are the ones who decide where the money is to be spent or invested. Is this making an impact? Let me make it clearer. When someone invests in something, for instance by buying stock, they become an owner. The more stock you own, the more power as an owner you have. When our governments own stock in larger and larger blocks, we have government ownership of private enterprise.
Ladies and gentlemen, that is the definition of Socialism. The definition of Fascism is the government control of privately owned property. Between all the regulations of our property from one side and the Federal, State and Local governments buying up ownership in private enterprise on the other, we are accomplishing a strange mixture of government that means just one thing: totalitarianism. Too strong? I don't thing so. We can still do something about if, if we care. It's up to you, my friend.
Are you so comfortable you don't want to rock the boat? If so, don't complain when the last of your freedoms disappears. If we're to be self-governing, we have to be self-reliant. That means all of us together or every man for himself. We need to hold our elected officials accountable and demand they refund the excesses of taxes. The computer power available to us makes this a relatively simple function and if our county employees can't figure out how to do it, I'll be glad to show them. We, the people, are the boss. Let's start acting that way.

Subject: Reality Check - Media Participation = Treason

Folks:

When a Google search is done on "CAFR" the hits were as follows:
Results about 42,800. Search took 0.17 seconds

When a Google "News" search was done on "CAFR" the hits were as follows:
Results 2. Search took 0.02 seconds.

Only 1 hit was per the CAFR (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report) by: The Sierra Times

When a Google search is done on "Budget Report" the hits were as follows:
Results about 22,400,000. Search took 0.09 seconds

When a Google "News" search is done on "Budget" the hits were as follows:
Results about 28,800. Search took 0.08 seconds

Reality Check!

The CAFR is Governments Annual Financial Report. A report with the most complete picture of the wealth, income, and growth shown over decades. This report can be classified as nothing other than the "Key to the Vault"

AND THEN:

The Budget Report is only for the year and limited in scope. In a certain light, insignificant in comparison to the CAFR.

Is there any gray area here with the Google News search yielding only one (1) hit on the CAFR and then 28,800 hits yielded from the word BUDGET in the News Search, that the syndicated media is complicit beyond any shadow of a doubt in the perpetuation of fraudulent NONDISCLOSURE and thus criminal participation in RACKETEERING, perpetrated to and on its viewers?

With almost a ZERO (0) yield in the News search per the most relevant document that exists for every City, County, School District, State, Public Authority, State University, and Enterprise Operations, that has now been in existence for over 55 years, does this establish the syndicated media's complicity?

And why is it that when you go to the LA Times, Chicago Tribune, the New York Times, the Washington Posts hard print archives and do a keyword search on the same, that the same results are realized? I found one hit in 1998 from
those archives that searched those millions of pages of print spanning decades. The hit was from the Chicago Tribune per a cattle livestock report.

And why is it that the records of the mailing rooms that send out the CAFR, (an expense item -- mandatory record keeping) showing that the editors of the News Papers, CEOs of the Networks, and Dean of all of the Universities and Colleges who have been sent the CAFR for over 30 years and there still is not a peep?

And even with a complete text search done in the archives of the US Federal Courts, why only one hit? That being on a case handled by Judge Ginsberg with the facts on why the CAFR was referenced and the conclusion drawn
therefrom being explosive, if not to say the least. The case involved injury to two Port Authority workers.

And why with so many independent News Agencies having written articles on the CAFR, that not one of those articles appeared in the Google News search excluding the Sierra Times article? World Net Daily has done 4, Spotlight has done over 15, Media Bypass 3 with one being the cover, Free American 2, etc.

These above FACTS establishes clearly the reality of the situation as to the degree of participation by and from the syndicated news media in this pervasive and cooperative fraud of no equal. Their motive for doing so? Almost unlimited personal and corporate wealth and power funneled in their doors each and every day for having done so.

With this type of cooperative collusion continuing on the part of the syndicated media, it is nothing other than them knowingly, willingly, and intentionally participating with willing complicity in committing treason against the American public. There is only one inevitable penalty for treason.

You may ask why the Syndicated Media has not come out full force or, even slightly using the typical editorial spin, personal assassination, or flip propaganda on the issue of the CAFR, myself, or anyone who mentions the CAFR? The answer is very simple here! They have worked for over a half a century diligently working to not say a peep so that unlimited wealth and power funneled in their doors each and every day will continue. If they mentioned the CAFR, it is self defeating to that massive effort spanning decades and it qualifies the entire issue and jeopardizes the game that they so eagerly participate in. Here silence has truly been golden and why try to fix it if it is not broke. So the vacuum continues, and not a peep is heard!

Well, let's force the issue. All of these syndicated outlets can now utter a peep and do it openly or they can suffer the consequences of their treasonous conduct.

The people can decide on what qualifies as a peep from these outlets. A column on the differences between the budget and CAFR. The conspicuous publishing of where to get the local City, County, School District, State, Public Authority, State University, and Enterprise Operation's CAFR. (1946 -2003) The growth factors of government, population, and overall demographics excellently shown in the statistical section of the CAFR, quoting the source!

TREASON: "Treason doth never prosper; what's the reason? For if it prosper, none dare call it treason." Sir John Harrington, 1561-1612

Remember the movie the Titanic? Keep in mind that scene where they played music until the last moment. Have you noticed how the music being played in our lives has changed in the last 3 years? My, what a different tune are we hearing now that the pressure is on to pull the sheets back exposing the treason. Are they winning at the game they are playing? Is the new tune being played being effective?

In spite of it all, no it is not. You cannot hide an Elephant in a closet once you know it is in the house. But, the crowds are growing, and more and more people are pushing on the door, looking through the windows, and calling their neighbors to take a look also.

What will happen when the Elephant comes popping out of the closet for all to see?

Well, it won't matter when it does. The tune that is playing now, and playing now being that we are and have not stopped it, is designed to make sure that it will not matter.

What does this mean for the future of our country?

That all depends on how quickly the people realize that they are at war at home and a real fight needs to begin of consequence here to eliminate the treason.

It will happen. How, where, when, and with what degree of unified force, and in what direction the fight will commence is up in the air at this time.

Keep in mind that the natives were getting very restless come the year 2000. So, 3 years later we now have Homeland Security, the Patriot Act 1 & 2, and an effort underway to antagonize the rest of the world. That should keep the natives at bay for a while. Additionally the natives are being financially drained step by step, so that factor will also weaken the natives towards corrective action. Real and true subservience is the push of the day for the corporate government syndicate.

So what will happen to change the current course of things?

I am afraid the word will be implosion. To much, to fast, and to hard. The graft, greed, and corruption is so pervasive, they are blatantly trying too hard to maintain their hold. They will implode the structure on themselves.

Why did I just think of Noah?

I am at 7000 feet elevation. Should be safe. How about you?

Have a good day!

Yours Sincerely,
