Lindsey Graham & Cohorts: Congressional Wimps

Republicans just shot themselves in the foot. Aided by so-called Republicans like Lindsey (waffle) Graham from SC, and others [like Warner & McCain] who are the elected jellyfish of Congress have tucked their tails between their legs and have become the losers they are now shown to be. Self serving political hacks, their "compromise" on selection of judicial candidates is one of the most outrageous actions taken in backroom negotiations thus far.

Whatever happened to the 'Contract with America"? Oops, I forgot. Contracts in DC are never honored, just promised in order to accomplish reelection! It's a shame that voters are so quick to forget when returning these power hungry individuals to Congress. Just listening to the opposition - many of whom appear to be totally senile in their comments - has this writer wondering about the caliber of men and women who are charged with upholding the Constitution and abiding by its restrictions on their actions.

The fawning left wing media is ecstatic! McCain and Graham must be bucking for perceived sainthood in the Democrat Party. No way! This will not be forgotten in this state. Kowtowing to the losers is not going to help their futures. Spineless, as Republican candidates, any party will do for them. Their ignorance in believing the opposition proves they are lying, to the public, and probably themselves. But mostly to the voters who elected them. The Republican party - if there any there with backbones - has been sold down the river by these party members who have consistently been critical of Congressional actions. Conservative voters have been ignored and lied to by political wannabes. Bi-partisan is now a four letter word.

These 14 committee members have now joined the ranks of those who consider Paris Hilton "an intriguing cultural icon" [of our times]*. The problem is we don't have to look at or except the hype regarding her escapades. We do have to live with/under the unprincipled actions of these hypocritical, elected, officials, one of whom, unfortunately, is from the state of SC. At least his true colors continue to come to the light of day.
