SLAP THE KING, EXPECT TO DIE
By: Devvy Kidd

"The liberties
of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at
all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received
them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for
us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring a mark
of everlasting infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we
should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or
to be cheated out of them by the artifices of designing men." -Samuel Adams,
American revolutionary hero
E-mail was heavy
from my last column, America's Law Enforcement:
Time for Hard Questions. While I cannot read all the mail because of volume,
I do try to read as many as I can when time permits. A few Timid Tommy's said,
"Devvy, stop talking like that, "they" are going to throw you in jail!"
First, the content
of my column is covered under politically protected free speech. Those who birthed
this republic wanted the newly created federal government to understand that
Americans would be free to criticize government and those in public office.
They wanted to make sure that for all the generations to come, we the people
would be free to speak our minds because we are all born free.
Second, as my
good friend, Larry Becraft, is so fond of saying: slap the king, expect to die
and that is exactly what happened to those visionary men who took it upon themselves
to carve out a Declaration of Independence. They fought for it and then formulated
a truly magnificent form of government: a constitutional republic - not a democracy. And,
yes, they died. Not just prominent figures like Nathan Hale, but the common
man, too. Most of the Founding Fathers were of the moneyed class with more to
lose than the common man in material possessions. But, once they were able to
articulate their ideas and the cry for freedom and liberty began to ring throughout
the colonies, the common man was willing to slap the king for the cause.
Women and children
also were a key component during the fight for freedom. Few have ever heard
the story of Sybil Ludington's Ride, but I cherish my copy of a book chronicling
her bravery:
"Sybil Ludington
was the oldest of 12 children of Colonel Henry Ludington. During the American
Revolution, her father was the commander of a volunteer regiment of men who
lived in the country surrounding Fredericksburg, New York. On April 26, 1777,
the British Redcoats captured and burned Danbury, Connecticut. When word reached
her father's house, Sybil Ludington, at the age of 16, rode out through the
night alone to call out the volunteer militia. Because of her heroism, the militia
was able to march to Danbury and oust the British army."
The Timid Tommy's
need to understand that what's happening in America isn't just some silly political
game, it is the real life struggle to save this republic from being flushed
down the pages of history. Tyranny cannot exist without support from the military
and law enforcement. Tyrants are cowards so they use force administered by paid
dragoons. Without that critical support tyranny fails, which is why law enforcement
in this country need to hear from we the people. They need to understand the
bigger picture and we must be the harbinger of the facts. That's why I did my
law enforcement column and I urge people to provide a copy to their local law
enforcement.
The illegals
invasion is the hot button for the '06 elections. In the past few months, the
rats in Congress are all suddenly appearing on media friendly talk shows blustering
about a serious problem they have ignored for two decades. Pimping for
votes after the invasion has reached critical mass. Why hasn't Bush lifted a
finger to close the border between these united States of America and Mexico?
Because he doesn't want to. Bush doesn't want the border closed because, just
like his father who pledged America's allegiance to the new world order and
the communist UN, the son's agenda is also one world government. Everything
he has done since taking office has been in furtherance of that goal:
Internationalizing
U.S. Roads by Phyllis Spivey:
"NAFTA Superhighways.
"Interstate 69, for example, is a planned 1600 mile national highway connecting
Mexico, the U.S., and Canada. Eight states are involved in the project: Once
completed, I-69 will extend from Port Huron, Michigan to the Texas/Mexico border.
In Texas, I-69 will be part of the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC) project - a 4000
mile network of existing and new toll roads - which will create the largest
private highway system in America. Interstate 35, also called the Oklahoma to
Mexico/Gulf Coast element, will be developed as part of the TTC."
It doesn't take
a rocket scientist to connect the dots: open those borders and merge Mexico,
Canada and America as one unit. No? How many Americans know anything about the
Organization of American States? Take
a look at their mission statement here. The same old "democracy" garbage
for "The Americas." The "Inter-American Democratic Charter" was ratified on
September 11, 2001. In the "Inter-American Democratic Charter: Documents and
Interpretations" section, note this language:
"The peoples
of the Americas have a right to democracy and their governments have an obligation
to promote and defend it."
Our legal form
of government is NOT a democracy. We are a constitutional republic. Our Founding
Fathers hated democracy and warned against it. Bush promotes democracy here
and abroad. He deliberately promotes failure and mob rule, aided and abetted
by the fools in Congress and the "mainstream media," all owned by one world
government proponents.
Another section
from this insidious charter: "Any person or group of persons who consider that
their human rights have been violated may present claims or petitions to the
Inter-American system for the promotion and protection of human rights in accordance
with its established procedures."
Inter-American system? In
other words, our judicial system and our sovereignty are no longer valid. Those
who have not studied communism cannot recognize this doublespeak. The FBI has
"training centers" in Moscow for "...law
enforcement initiatives related to the Russian Federation. Since 1994, the
caseload of our Legal Attache office in Moscow has grown from 35 cases to 375
cases. In addition, to date, some 660 investigative leads from domestic U.S.
FBI field offices have been covered in Moscow and elsewhere in Russia with the
assistance of our Russian law enforcement counterparts." Perhaps people will
now understand why Congress once again, passed a grossly unconstitutional foreign-aid
appropriations bill on Nov. 4, 2005, which contains a $4 million expenditure
using borrowed money from the FED to fund Russian political parties.
Remember the words of Rowan Gaither:
"....we operate
here out of directives that emanate from the White House. And the subject of
those directives are, we are to use our grant-making powers to alter life in
the United States so that we can be merged with the Soviet Union." - Rowan Gaither,
Joint Committee on Regional
Government hearings, Sept. 26, 1978
There is also
an FBI "training center" in Budapest. There is no authorization in Art. 1, Sec.
8 for the people's treasury to be robbed to provide training or law enforcement
exercises in foreign countries. But, under a one world government, there will
be no more sovereign nation states.
Does anyone
need a bigger picture? No more borders, destroy our job force through unconstitutional
treaties, suppress wages for Americans by allowing 20 million illegals to flood
this country and be hired by "American" companies for cheap wages. Think Bush
isn't aware of this? Think certain members of Congress and governors know nothing
about this? Oh, please. Phyllis Spivey's two critical columns: Dispelling
the Myths in the Ownership Society and Riverside
County - Development United Nations Style. All of this is going on right
under the noses of a disinterested, dumbed down population.
Neither Bush
nor the GOP controlled Congress (since January 1995) have rolled back one
single unconstitutional law or treaty enacted over the past 60 years. NAFTA
and GATT have destroyed our three most critical job bases: agriculture, manufacturing,
industrial. 95% of Americans no longer produce anything, they push bacon chicken
wraps or shuffle paper for foreign governments. Bush strong armed Republican
sell outs in Congress to get the unconstitutional CAFTA passed. Another threat
to not only our sovereignty. The FTAA, it will put the final nail in the coffin.
Bush supporters
can stay in denial if it's more comfortable, but America's unconstitutional
invasion of Iraq - an undeclared war - will fail miserably just like the rest
of these experiments in "nation building." This is not a criticism of the job
our troops are doing, it is based on past history. There isn't a scintilla of
authority in Art. 1, Sec. 8 which allows the people's treasury to be robbed
and pillaged to spend hundreds of billions of dollars to war against any country,
invade it, kill those who don't agree with the U.S. and then turn around and
dictate how a new government is going to be set up, monitor elections, build
schools, hospitals and train armies. This invasion is the most grotesque misuse
of our military I have ever seen. On December 20, 2005, the media reported there
was still political fighting between the Shittes and Sunni's and that "the White
House wasn't pleased." Does anyone see what's wrong with this picture?
The hysteria
over criticizing Bush's war mongering has nothing to do with the performance
of our troops. They are already in danger the minute they step off the plane
or ship into Iraq. It is one of the most dangerous places on this earth. Those
they war against will try to kill them regardless of whether or not we the people
criticize Bush's policy or embrace it. It is kill or be killed. How quickly
people forget that the very same conservatives who are now defending Bush's
war mongering are the very same people who criticized Clinton when he unconstitutionally
and without a declaration of war invaded Kosovo:
From By John Hassell,
April 7, 1999:
"Even as allied
warplanes streak across the Balkan skies, another air war is going on, right
here in the United States. The target? President Clinton. Still bristling with
moral outrage over the Monica Lewinsky scandal, the conservative hosts who dominate
talk radio are now attacking Clinton for sending the U.S. military into Kosovo.
" But the bombing in Kosovo presents a dilemma for conservative hosts. How do
you oppose the war and criticize the commander in chief without seeming anti-military
or, worse, unpatriotic?
"We find ourselves
in a very awkward situation, because usually conservatives are in the forefront
of supporting military action," said Chuck Baldwin, a Pensacola, Fla., radio
host. "But that doesn't mean that we just roll over and accept what's happening."
"Nearly every
conservative talk radio personality of national reputation -- Rush Limbaugh,
Ollie North, Roger Hedgecock, Baldwin and Liddy, to name a few -- has opposed
the war in Kosovo.
"At the same
time, these hosts have bent over backward in trying to make sure no one thinks
they are soft on dictators, dovish on military action or less than fully supportive
of American troops........On the air, [Roger] Hedgecock has argued passionately
against committing American air power to the Balkan conflict. "If our bombing
is causing more problems than we are solving, then maybe by stopping the bombing
we can undo some of the damage," he said. "Stop the war!"
"When Yugoslav
President Slobodan Milosevic announced yesterday that his forces would observe
a unilateral cease-fire through Sunday, Limbaugh said it offered NATO a way
out. "Let's cut our losses and accept this cease-fire," Limbaugh said. He added
sarcastically, "Give the President a Congressional Medal of Honor and let's
get back home!"
Does any of
the above sound familiar today? Think our soldiers in Clinton's quagmire in
Kosovo were in greater danger while all these popular conservative media types
were hammering him? It's okay for conservatives to rip Clinton a new one every
day for years over Kosovo while our soldiers were engaged in death battles
with their necks on the line everyday. Conservatives didn't like that undeclared,
unconstitutional invasion. But when it's a war they approve of and you express
your opposition, you are excoriated. Seems a bit hypocritical to me.
The American
people are behind our troops 100% every day, but we want them to come home and
stop working to establish a one world government:
"The U.S. military
welcomes additional funds for special units. The Pentagon continues its downsizing
in preparation for the New World Order." Former Asst. Secretary of Defense and
former Director of the CIA, John Deutch, December 1, 1994, McNeil/Lehrer News
Hour
"We are on the
cutting edge of the New World Order here in Bosnia." U.S. Army Major Bushyread,
May 8, 1996, CBS Evening News with Dan Rather
This unconstitutional
invasion of Iraq isn't about freeing the people of Iraq, but to conquer and
set up a democracy on the way to breaking up that country and controlling the
oil sector. Denial is a dangerous state of mind. We the people must open our
eyes to painful truths. We must open them, for to remain blind to the truth,
is to dig the grave of this nation. Ben Franklin said: "When men make sheep
of themselves, the wolves will eat you." America is over run with flocks.
We the people
elect our public servants to do the job within the constraints of the U.S. Constitution.
When a president - even in time of an undeclared, unconstitutional war, steps
outside his authority, we the people have the right, no, the absolute duty
to question a foreign policy that serves the global banking cartel. Our
military is for our security here at home. This whole war on terrorism was birthed
on lies starting with 9/11. Teddy Roosevelt said it the best:
"The President
is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should
be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good
conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able,
and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely
necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts,
and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong
as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen
is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the
President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not
only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.
Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is
even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than
about any one else."
Bush supporters,
who are too afraid to believe he has betrayed them, can continue to parse words,
but there can be no denying the legal facts. There was never a declaration of
war because the Constitution is no longer an obstacle to the lawbreakers in
Washington, DC - and forget this sanctimonious BS-ing about UN resolutions:
"The dirty little
secret is that both houses of Congress are irrelevant." Reich cut to the chase
when he said that "America's domestic policy is now being run by Alan Greenspan
and the Federal Reserve and America's foreign policy is now being run by the
International Monetary Fund [IMF]." And, "...when the president decides to go
to war, he no longer needs a declaration of war from Congress." Robert Reich,
former Secretary of Labor under Billy Clinton, January 7, 1999 issue of USA
Today. So, Clinton went ahead and wagged the dog and send our troops to Bosnia.
At the time
of Bush's invasion of Iraq, CFR point dog in the House, Rep. Henry Hyde, [R-Il]
stated that "declaring war is anachronistic, it isn't done anymore..." During
the same time period, darling of the deaf, dumb and blind "liberals," Ranking
Minority Member Tom Lantos, [D-Ca] called the declaration of war "frivolous
and mischievous." So without a formal declaration of war and built on a mountain
of lies to justify his unlawful action, Bush ordered our military to invade
Iraq.
While I am no
fan of the "mainstream media" if even half of this is true, I would like to
see Bush supporters spin this one:
How U.S.
Fell Under the Spell of 'Curveball'
November 20, 2005, LA Times.com
Bob Drogin and John Goetz
"The Iraqi informant's
German handlers say they had told U.S. officials that his information was 'not
proven,' and were shocked when President Bush and Colin L. Powell used it in
key prewar speeches.
"BERLIN/ The
German intelligence officials responsible for one of the most important informants
on Saddam Hussein's suspected weapons of mass destruction say that the Bush
administration and the CIA repeatedly exaggerated his claims during the run-up
to the war in Iraq.
"Five senior
officials from Germany's Federal Intelligence Service, or BND, said in interviews
with The Times that they warned U.S. intelligence authorities that the source,
an Iraqi defector code-named Curveball, never claimed to produce germ weapons
and never saw anyone else do so.
"According to the Germans,
President Bush mischaracterized Curveball's information when he warned before
the war that Iraq had at least seven mobile factories brewing biological poisons.
Then-Secretary of State Colin L. Powell also misstated Curveball's accounts
in his prewar presentation to the United Nations on Feb. 5, 2003, the Germans
said.
"Curveball's German handlers
for the last six years said his information was often vague, mostly secondhand
and impossible to confirm.
"This was not
substantial evidence," said a senior German intelligence official. "We made
clear we could not verify the things he said."
"The German
authorities, speaking about the case for the first time, also said that their
informant suffered from emotional and mental problems. "He is not a stable,
psychologically stable guy," said a BND official who supervised the case. "He
is not a completely normal person," agreed a BND analyst. The
full column is found here.
Bush has and
will continue to use his endless "war on terror" as the burning match to the
U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Sadly for America, there are no statesmen
in Washington, just crooks, cowards and criminals masquerading as your friends,
there to hand out free prescription pills to keep you medicated, more and more
government jobs because they have destroyed our most important job bases and
building a police state in this country to rival Joseph Stalin.
The colonials,
the first Americans, were willing to slap the king even though they knew it
could cost them their lives. They did it anyway. They did it for freedom. They
did it for their women and children. They did it for future generations - us.
Those colonials were a very special people, especially George Washington. An
amazing man whose wisdom was profound for such a young man with heavy responsibilities.
He said:
"My ardent desire
is, and my aim has been...to comply strictly with all our engagements, foreign
and domestic; but to keep the U States free from political connexions with every
other Country. To see that they may be independent of all, and under the influence
of none. In a word, I want an American character, that the powers of Europe
may be convinced we act for ourselves and not for others; this is in my judgment,
the only way to be respected abroad and happy at home." Letter to Patrick Henry,
October 9, 1775
This is just
the tip of the iceberg. America is in meltdown. Tens of millions of Americans
don't give a second thought to sovereignty, freedom or the sacrifices made by
those who gave up their tomorrows so we could have ours, but I do. Forget the
millions of Americans surfing off the shores of Miami last week, snow skiing
in Tahoe, walking the malls for "holiday" presents, getting drunk, drowning
in "recreational" drugs, going to see a play on Broadway or just hangin' out
in front of the tube. We the people who know the truth will march forward, the
timid can remain hiding behind fancy word smithing and cosmetic patriotism.
At the very
end of a magnificent movie, The Patriot, which superbly portrays the
ugliness of war, Mel Gibson gives these final words:
"With the war
ending and our militia disbanding, I take measure of what we have lost and what
we have won. My hope and prayer is that the sacrifices borne by so many will
spawn and fulfill the promise of our new nation."
Will we throw
all of this away with nary a whimper?
God bless us
as we the people fight to protect and preserve the Constitution of these united
States of America, for freedom, liberty and all that is right and good.
