Stating the Obvious by Workin' Tommy C.

OBAMA IS WHITE!

Every time I hear someone talking about how we've now got our first black President (not counting Bill Clinton) I want to scream, "Obama is WHITE!"

Well, he's just as white as he is black. What kind of "first" President does that make him, then--and why's the color such a big deal, anyway? Should we call him our first "mulatto" President? Is "mulatto" an insulting term nowadays (not that I really care--it's a perfectly adequate descriptive word and that's what counts)?

If we had elected Walter Williams (who has much more "negroid"--the anthropological term--blood in him and who is a true Constitutionalist whom I'd vote for in a heartbeat over ANY of the white fascists/socialists in the two major parties) I doubt that all the liberals and neo-cons would be so starry-eyed right now.

I haven't been excited about a President since Ronald Reagan and that was only because I was a starry-eyed youth myself. Even Ronald Reagan was more liberal than FDR and I'll be d----d if I get excited over ANY emperor--elected or not! We haven't had a President really pay attention to the U.S. Constitution since James Buchanan and even he faltered near the end of his term.

I voted for the mulatto (since so many insist on identifying him in terms of color I might as well identify him correctly) President as a protest vote against the backstabbing McCain. I figure we have a lot better chance of defeating amnesty and other socialist measures if the conservatives have someone to fight against who won't co-opt half of his own party to vote with the Democrats on those issues. Before you get too upset at this admission, please note that Rush Limbaugh (who is relatively more liberal than I) said the same thing on many occasions during the campaign and only "supported" McCain in his being against Obama.

If the Republicans (besides traitors Lindsey Graham and John McCain and a few others) can be organized in OPPOSITION to such measures as amnesty with Obama as the representative of those measures (a "dartboard" of sorts) and, in addition, the Democrats are the party blamed with the continuing bad economy, we have a chance of saving our country. Otherwise, that Russian analyst may be right about a coming break-up.
