Stating the Obvious by Workin' Tommy C.

                     "Regarding Andre Bauer's Behavior"

Character of elected officials or candidates for office is well within the parameters of that which should be judged by the individual voter before pulling the lever for him.

Character is an important matter.  For example, if an individual running for office were behaving in a promiscuous fashion, I don't think I'd trust his judgement in other areas either.

Why is Andre Bauer not married?  Is not being married (to a woman reasonably close in age and being faithful to her) at least one good indicator of an individual's character, especially in regards to responsibility, personal growth, and maturity?

Look at the fuss that Sanford's cheating and promiscuity has caused.  His judgement and behavior have been extreme and extremely disruptive to our state.  He should resign, IMHO, but his remaining in office is a great demonstration of what can happen when we have someone of poor character in office.

One thing to ask yourself about Bauer is: "Would you ride in a car with him driving?"  Or, even more important for such a high level figure, "Would you fly in a plane with him piloting?"

What do I think of Bauer's speeding, challenging police officers, crashing a plane due to his extreme negligence, general arrogance, repeated grandstanding, pandering to special interests, etc.?  I think he's repeatedly shown very poor judgement and I can not trust the boy Lt. Governor.  By the time Andre Bauer grows up he'll be senile.

I wouldn't fly in a plane or ride in a car that he was in charge of.  And I sure as the devil wouldn't trust him to pilot this state as governor nor represent any portion thereof in D.C.
