"Will Lindsey Gaham apologize for his hate speech against constituents?"
October 30, 2009
Strange how Lindsey Gaham's defenders never bring up the fact that he repeatedly and angrily refers to his constituents as, "bigots," "idiots,""angry white guys" and tells them to leave. That's not being hateful?
He and his sycophants complain about us calling him a traitor. Sorry, Gaham, that's just a statement of fact verifiable by reading the U.S. Constitution.
Many in the fascist press carry on about how brave he is to defy his constituents. My question to them is: how can a principled man compromise on such big lies as "global cooling/warming/climate change"?
To compromise with an outrageous lie is to make yourself part and parcel of that lie. To cooperate with fascism is to be fascist yourself.
Lindsey Gaham loves Lindsey Gaham. Therein lies all the answers. It's that simple. He's a narcissist just playing the game of self-aggrandizement. The supreme law of the land means nothing to that lawyer.
He pulls his finger out (I won't say from where) sticks it up into the air, and then plays the middle ground to leverage votes and gain influence and attention.
WARNING: DO NOT GET BETWEEN HIM AND A TV CAMERA!
I'd rather politicians FIGHT & go down in flames rather than compromise. Compromising with creeping fascism for over a century now HAS NOT WORKED--not even towards the goals Gaham claims he's pursuing.
Unprincipled, self-aggrandizing deal-brokers in the Republican party have LOST seats in Congress & the White House over the past few elections.
Ironically, McCain & Gaham are now funding neo-cons in primaries against real conservatives across the country in order to take advantage of the backlash that is aimed at THEM as well as the socialist Dems.
Sad to say, I'm in Joe Wilson's district and do not think he's much better than Gaham so far. He has been the invisible man and was dragged kicking and screaming to just sign on the the Audit the Fed bill which was pretty much a no-brainer when it comes to whether or not to support it. Currently, overwhelming majority of the US House of Representatives have signed on as co-sponsors!
Way to go, Joe! Support of Ron Paul's brilliant bill FINALLY registered on your own little finger in the wind, eh?
Joe Wilson told me in person in 2007 after a town hall meeting that the reason he didn't take the lead in fighting amnesty proposals is that he was afraid of being called a "racist." Too late, Joe! You're in the wrong party to avoid that thanks to the socialist press.
Wilson has been bought and paid for by Gaham who funnels his excess corporate donations to other candidates--especially liberals running against conservatives in Republican primaries in this state. There is obviously no way that he will run against Lindsey Gaham--not that he is, nor would necessarily be, any better than Gaham.
Gaham has also funneled taxpayer money (an maybe even campaign funds) to Dems across the state in order to keep them from running anyone serious against him. The SC Dem's corrupt complacency about a fat lawyer from Charleston running for the seat is how Blue Dog Bob Conley took the slot away from them.
Bob Conley, though vastly underfunded, won more votes than anyone else to have ever run for the US Senate from SC and lost. If Gaham had not run on McCain's coattails, he might have lost with a shift of just seven or eight percent of the vote. Unfortunately, too many people did not get the word and blindly pulled the straight Republican ticket.
In the elections of 2008, Gaham flooded the airwaves with commercials that were outright lies in presenting him as a "good conservative." Gaham had over $10 million to beat two opponents and in FY 2007 requested over $305 million in taxpayer earmarks. That's generally how Senators here stay in power--buying up as many votes as possible with the voters' own money. It's just a game after all to Gaham--no principles allowed!
Will Lindsey Gaham ever apologize for the frequent ad hominem attacks on his constituents? He seeks, like other outlandish and radical liberals, to shut down our objections to him by labeling us as racist extremists. I find that very insulting. He seems to forget us when he claims to be representing ALL South Carolinians (or, according to one of his office sycophants, "all AMERICANS!").
Do not people who are outraged and angry at his actions have a right to be treated with respect even if he, a cowardly, back-stabbing little traitor does not deserve the same courtesy. After all, WE have been consistent and obviously would welcome his reformation or at least his complying with his oath to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. WE are his collective judge and have a right--even a conscientious DUTY--to let him and other treasonous politicians know that we object to their unconstitutional actions.
Every politician should ALWAYS be on trial and any violations of the law need to be documented and brought to his attention in any way that works. Perhaps if Gaham were a little more open-minded about actually obeying the Constitution, he would not be given such a hard time. For example, Senator DeMint doesn't get treated anywhere near as badly by Democrats as Gaham is treated by members of his own party.
It is Lindsey Gaham who has repeatedly been in our face with his liberal votes after telling us he is a conservative. Then, in his own defense, he quickly runs out of argument and starts insulting us instead of admitting his obvious complicity in promoting anti-constitutional bills with his surrenders to the socialists cleverly disguised as "principled compromises."
In other words, a humble public servant shows US respect and we, by dint of our position as voting citizens, are NOT obligated to return the favor when he has acted disrespectful to us.
WE are the parent, good or bad, in this case of someone who is obviously a man-child playing with fire in our house. WE, THE PEOPLE, actually have a DUTY to be many millions of abusive citizen-tyrants when it comes to the judgement and punishment of elected government officials!
Any respect shown to Gaham in this situation is a benefit--an extra little something that he has no inherent right to. He should savor what few bones he's thrown because he's a lot more likely to have a rolled up newspaper impacting his flanks. Lindsey Gaham is in a position where he has to work hard to EARN our respect but, on the other hand, he has to give US respect no matter what. That's just the way things are as well as being the way things should be.
When someone serves in office, he is undertaking a duty to obey the law, whether it's the basic unalienble rights of natural law or the expression of those natural laws in our written law.
A law-breaker in office is also known as a tyrant. Tyrants, in my own humble opinion, deserve NO respect. In fact, Lindsey Gaham and other politicians should be grateful that we don't emulate our ancestors further by tarring and feathering him and running him out on a rail. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarring_and_feathering From that perspective, calling him a traitor is mild indeed and he should be appreciative of that fact.
It is obvious to the reasonable, law abiding mind that we can not trust ANY politician and must be constantly fighting to just maintain, much less restore, our liberty. When we find a crook like Gaham, we have to be extra hard on him at all times and never let up. It may be stressful (though frequently fun) for us to inflict political and personal mental anguish on him but we HAVE to make it painful to him to the point that he leaves office. Political pain, as many activist texts will tell you, is all a politician understands in the end.
